I can't ruin a good book by telling the ending....

. Seriously, if you can get a copy, it is a good read. Lets just say there is a bit of confusion. Back in the 1950's there was an archaeological dig performed with two actual witnesses to the burial. You won't believe what they found. There were.....

Ok I found a decent copy (not cheap) on Amazon - just so I can read about poor ole Nipper's archaeological dig

I'm glad you found a copy. I believe the book was re-issued in the early 1980's. I think the back cover is cute. Bad Nipper!!!.....

My three little boys are all Jack Russell Terriers - I am pretty sure Nipper was at least part Jack Russell by the way he looked even though the original known photo (photos?) are black & white of course. And Jacks can nip if you get them all worked up
