I completely agree. All you need is a white bed sheet, a lamp to direct light upon the object to photograph and you are in business to take nice photos your potential customers will be satisfied with.

Ah yes, I recognise that location.
Not much natural light available there. It's a cellar, but a great storage facility.

Another useful approach is to just use a photograph of a different phonograph. Here is one of my favorites -- I wonder what the actual machine looks like... Nice case. One doesn't see such fancy Silverstones these days.

I'd like to see what his "reproduction records" look like... as far as I know no one ever sold repro DD's.

Believe it or not there are reproduction diamond discs, at least one title, an early advertising record was offered for sale by Charlie Hummel. I doubt this gentleman is talking about one of those though. Hard to say what he's got.

He's probably talking about paper label "recreation" DDs. You know, "reproduction", "recreation" what's the difference?
At least that would be my guess. Sorry, that was uncalled for.

Let Us Not Forget has also been reproduced. Someone had them, along with some repro Berliners, at Wayne a year or 2 ago. They looked like they had been made from some kind of mold, with slightly rough edges.
