I played with Photoshop a while back and decided I liked the effect of using gradiants. Here's one example.
Thanks for the ideas guys. I also played with Gradiants. The big problem is the cut out of the pic itself. Very tough on a Phongraph.

I would agree that the black background tends to make it harder to see certain details…
