Glad to hear that you reamed the cylinder to fit the mandrel better. It sounds very good. Glad you are happy with it. I only wish I had more copies of it to sell, as several members on the forum wanted a copy.

If I would have realized it was you, I would have contacted you. I have bought a lot of nice cylinders from you.

Sorry to hear that Norm is not making that one anymore, I was going to get a copy but funds were tight. He has quite a few good releases.

The Berlin Phono Works re-recording of this great tune. The Ted Weems version on Victor is also fantastic btw.

Sorry I put my two cents worth into this post, since I am not a cylinder collector - I thought they had quit making them by 1928. What makes it so valuable - the media (BA) or the song? Guess not many were made and people like a lively tune coming from an Edison machine...
"The phonograph† is not of any commercial value."
Thomas Alva Edison - Comment to his assistant, Samuel Insull.

"No one needs a Victrola XX, a Perfected Graphophone Type G, or whatever you call those noisy things."

I think it's a combination of the catchy tune, and that so few of them were produced (batches of 100 at that point I believe?)
