Good catch, zipcord -- there's no reason why the arm, in good health, should be able to swing that far to the left. Not a dealbreaker, though -- that set of parts, if they need to be replaced, usually go fairly cheaply on eBay.
Something does need fixed there, though.

Price went from 275 this morning to 300 tonight, and there's damage to the back legs but they won't provide a photo.

Great. After two months they've had a few calls all of a sudden and now they've got stars in their eyes and want to start a bidding war. Jeesh. Craigslist used to be quick and efficient, but it's full of baloney anymore.

Since this forum was likely the catalyst that fueled his intransigence, there's really only one thing to do:
If the same folks here who contacted him with questions all offer a fixed price, say $200. That may shock him into being more forthcoming with information and further pictures.
Not that I hold much hope. Anyone who would place a floor jack in such proximity to a fine machine obviously doesn't care.
