in some real oddball places and situations!

These cylinders will confound collectors for

Well it seems that common sense prevailed. To bad they didn't start it with a low price as it would have been interesting to see what the high bid was.

Maybe I'm nuts but when your cylinder doesn't sell for $2300 what makes someone think that by raising the price $400 will help it sell.

A common tactic used by Ebay sellers. He did not have a "Best Offer" option on the last auction. He has now raised the price and added the Best Offer, hoping for someone to offer his original asking price.

As I said, the sale of this cylinder probably is not for Edison phonograph collectors, or cylinder enthusiasts, but for Moerons, or moeners.
