If one gently rubs the surface of a hill-and-dale disc between thumb and forefinger, one will find that they have a distinct 'feel' to them due to the uniform width of the groove and groove walls perpendicular to the surface of the record. I have long said that I can pick out h&d records in a dark room for this reason.gramophoneshane wrote:It's normally pretty easy to tell by looking at the grooves themselves.
