I'd have to say the Colibri. I really like the compact design and simplicity of it. Plus, it looks like a miniature box camera!

Well given just the three choices I'd probably go for the Miki too. However if I had the extra space in my Stutz, I'd probably bring along the Fireside and attempt to demonstrate to my sweetie how it sounded better than the Miki even though bordering on obsolescence.

Once benefit of being "married with children" is that I have a captive audience of sorts. I don't have a Mikiphone so they are forced to enjoy the Fireside, like it or not!

As a Father of a younger child I must say that is a wonderful photo to share with us.Now regarding your comment about comparing sound between the two machines......you can tell you are married now.I don't think your "hot date" is coming to the picnic to hear sound comparaions .I would hope that they would be wanting to hear more of a "kissie face" sound .Well,the Miki is tied up to the Colibri as the sound choice.Maybe we are the same now as then......bring the latest high tech gizmo.Like the I-Pod.
