It's definitely not a "MAC" issue, since I can view it just fine. However, links in the article require a subscription... For those of you who can't view it, the article is summed up in a video which is linked below.

John Levin, a wax cylinder collector, purchased a box of cylinders from someone in the Midwest. After months of research, he thinks he discovered some of the earliest musical recordings from Los Angeles.

The main point is the discovery of these brown wax cylinders that were home recorded and are possibly "The beginning of the L.A. record business."

Interesting. I can read this just fine on my Mac, unlike the Popular Mechanics article in the other thread. Mmm....

A MAC can read anything that a PC can - I have both. The main difference is the browser you are using, because some are not universal in accessing certain websites. I use Safari (the Apple developed browser and Google Chrome) for most websites Safari works good, but some are not designed for Safari and exhibit glitches, so I switch to Chrome and try that...
