I found an "Auxetophone" key for sale on eBay, but it appears to be the same as all other regular V keys.

You're correct, it's just a regular, (but gold plated), "V" key. Ain't eBay fun?

Looks Great Ken, I demonstrate our Auxetophone with Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever on Victor VE "Orthophonic Recording" it will blow your socks off, Caruso's Over There Sounds good as well.

It simply must have Caruso played on it first. I have the Complete Caruso on Naxos CD and it has wonderful transfers by Ward Marston. HOWEVER, nothing compares with playing his records on an actual Victor external horn machine which is so wonderfully loud and full and much more present than listening to him on a CD of him. Your machine here will only further enhance the impact...........
