Those E-series XVIs are nice, and you're right - - I don't think the carvings on any of the other XVIs are quite as elaborate.
I like the Kohler & Chase decal too. Some collectors don't really care, but I'm interested in where individual talking machines were originally sold, and having the retailer's decal answers the question.
The turntable felt cleaned up nicely - - at first it appeared to have been faded out around the perimeter from sun exposure! Nice machine.

Thanks George, actually I should have mentioned I swapped the turntable with a better one I had on hand.
I was always fond of visiting San Francisco so I also like the merchant decal. Its a nice touch.
