By the way - congratulations! I'm a big fan of Edison A-series Disc Phonographs. Here's an earlier thread where A-series Disc Phonographs were discussed:

I've got a manual specific to the A150 & A200 that I'd be glad to scan and send to you if it would be of help. I'm not sure the instructions are detailed enough to help with reassembly of a motor but you are welcome to a scan. They are somewhat different than the A250 instructions but not significantly so.

Some of the suggestions in both sets of instructions are interesting and also confusing.

- The A250 instruction say that "... the gear cover which surrounds the spiral gear should be filled with pure vaseline at all times." Seems to me that pure vaseline would be too thick, the gear would quickly wear a path thru the vaseline and the rest of the vaseline would never come in contact with the gear. Was vaseline of that time thinner, like a thick oil?
- The A200 instructions recommend periodically removing the mechanism (annually I think it said)and cleaning the entire mechanism in benzine or gasoline. What a smelly mess that would be after!
