Thanks for the kind words. Matt is correct, I have a VTLA that I have decided that it is just too far gone to restore. I helped Matt out with several items and have several more items available. Once you findout just what you are needing let me know.
Regards, Wes

Here's the ad I responded to. Never heard of anyone just "disposing of" a VTLA before.

Just for fun I looked at "craigslist road island" under "victrola". In addition to the $25 VTLA, there is a $450 Victrola XVII or XVIII. How many tanks of gas will it take me from Oregon? Someone should buy it. Jerry Blais

My mom will Kill me if I pick up another and make her store it. Hahaha Not to mention I will have to buy a new car pronto.

Clay,
I haven't even seen it yet. It is in Rhode Island and I am in PA...We aren't going up that way until the end of Oct.

I am also picking up an L-door XVI from a member on here at that time so I have to figure out how to get them both back. I suppose we should all have such dilemas

When I've said anything which others have taken as bragging because I "got it cheap", I've been attacked. Anyway, good thing this was rescued from the garbage.

Sorry to hear that. In my opinion, getting something cheap is worth bragging about and not at all an attackable offense. Feel free to brag to me anyday. I love this hobby but I am not in the position to not worry about price. All my machines were cheap or I wouldn't have them.

And it my experience "cheap" is often relative. Often a low acquisition price is followed by big outlays in time and money for restoration. But maybe I should plug my ears when some abused and forlorn phonograph starts crying out "save me".
