The moment you realize you are meant to be collecting

Post by m0xiemama »

I found a Craigslist listing for a $25 victrola. The guy had no picture said it was a little beat up and someone took most of it apart but all was there still. There was no picture but I figured for $25 I'll have my family pick it up and hold on to it til I could look it over......here are the pictures my mom just sent!!!!! And the guy I think got tired of dealing with my family so he just put it out on the curb before she got there so I technically got it for free :)

That's great! A VTLA no less...

Congratulations - it's a nice day to be collecting, isn't it? Boy, it's lucky it lasted on the curb until your mom arrived!

Wow, congratulations! You can't beat that deal. And at least from the front it doesn't look that beat up either.

I have it. Just didnt post it because the picture is lame. My mom doesnt know anything about phonographs and I had to beg for pictures just to be sure of what I had.
