And the record sleeves don't even look crispy! Amazing. What are you using to clean the cabinet?

Thanks for all your positive comments - I am using a combination of Gojo and some other stuff I've developed to clean the cabinet. MAAS to clean the chrome. I posted some pictures of my progress on another post but I'll add a couple here. I hope to be finished tomorrow and will post more pictures.

I just need to point out that there's no chrome on a Victrola - it's nickel plate! :)

Keep the wife only if she's in better condition than this Victrola.

How rare and/or unique? Victrola Outfit Part #6156

Hello
As I've never seen this before, I would like to know how uncommon it is to find a complete 'Victrola Outfit' - mine is complete (per details in the instructions) and everything is in like new condition except for some damage to one packet of needles and very slight damage to the outer box (chip in one corner of outer box). Includes the box, instruction booklet (as-new), reproducer (original and as nice as I've seen), reproducer certificate (nice shape), reproducer box (as-new), index book in envelope (as-new), 'How to get the most...' booklet in envelope (as-new), key (nice), and 2 packets of needles as originally included (1 as-new). You can see pics in my previous posts. I will be trying to sell my machine (which is in completely original condition and looks almost new), as well as the Victrola Outfit. I have no idea how to price everything because I've never encountered such a lot.
Thanks
Jim

Why in the world would you sell this? You have a real treasure, a time capsule. A set up like this is once in a lifetime. If you're worried about space, sell something else. This is a keeper.

Harvey,

I couldn't agree with you more!

That XI and all of it's goodies are likely never going to turn up that "complete" ever again and seeing it all get broken up is a real shame IMO.

I am trying to keep it all together - just trying to figure out a fair value for everything. Jim
