You may want to keep your eyes on this. Not only will you get the parts you need (and more), but you will also get the 'lateral' attachment in order to play regular 78 records.

The S-19 used a "150" horn, which is too large for the A-100 cabinet.

Well, that's too bad. I guess not being a DD collector shows... . However, I assume the reproducer and lateral record adapter could be used in a A-100. Therefore, it may still be a good deal 'if' it remains at $100. Naturally, the condition of the stylus would be a big factor.

What size horn is it? In any event, it seems like a great deal for the seller. You didn't buy at $40. Does $63 sound better?

As I said before, if you were near me, you'd be getting it for free. There are hundreds and hundreds of Edison DD mechanisms laying around that no one really wants. These parts should not be expensive.

As I recommended earlier, you should contact experienced collectors in the St. Louis area to help you. I can assist you in this, if you wish.

If you are missing just the horn, you should be able to get it for free or close to that price. As others have said, be patient.

Regarding the reproducer, I'd suggest finding a nickel one that looks cosmetically good. Assume the stylus is bad and it needs a rebuild. Then have it properly rebuilt.

Be patient and you'll find everything you need fairly easily and inexpensively. The grill could be the most challenging and most expensive part.
