Don sent me back my original Stollwerck disc along with his copy. I literally could not tell them apart! Fortunately he marks the back of the copies or they could easily pass as original Truly amazing.

FYI: I sent my 4 ½" Stollwerck record yesterday to Don which should arrive tomorrow. There are three major pits in the record that we hope he can repair - can't wait for playable copies of both.

Thank you for the kind words, Rene. Now I hope you'll finally get to use your machine and play the copies. I'd live to see a video of an original Stollwerck machine playing one of my discs, just to see what the original fidelity would had been like.

My 4 ½" Stollwerck arrived earlier today and only a few hours received this picture. How hard is it to tell which is the original? Don's repro is so far superior to what I sent him. Thank you Don(and Rene for your support in the project). See what a simple WANTED ad can produce.

That is a ridiculously priced record given the condition in my opinion. I'll wait for one of Don's records costing 30x less. Thanks for posting the link!

Don just posted a video showing the process of making a mold and copy of the 4 ½" Stollwerck. Interesting and well worth the watch.
