Hi Steve, yes, the horn is simply a massive, heavy cast iron horn. Quite simple actually. Not sure what you mean with bifurcated? It is just one simple horn, not two channels or something. It may look like two channels because the tonearm end is inside/above the horn opening. Early version were painted black at the horn opening, then some I think were painted with wood grain, but not positive about that.

Many thanks, Andreas. It's now much easier to understand. It's basically a folded over table or cabinet grand internal cast iron horn which in the earliest versions terminated as a solid continuous construction in the back of the cabinet. Later versions have the shortened casting with a curved wooden section forming the end of horn to match the cabinet.
When I say "bifurcated" I'm thinking about Columbia and Decca designs which have a split in the horn conduit, creating more than one path for the sound to travel along, similar to a re-entrant. I can see now it's not that.
