Once the hormones kick in, you'll be more interested in the dolly birds than gramophones. Keep your pants on!

With 2 very young sisters and a young cousin I really couldnt stand any more kids!
And AZ, they did long ago ;)... Still prefer the gramophones though!, less effort

You can also work after school at a local restaurant as a busser/food -runner. You can't take orders, but the tip share can be awesome at a busy restaurant. Then there is always the hated but sometimes lucrative mowing lawns....how well I remember!
Best of luck, you'll get there! :) :clover:

As a teenager, I would have much preferred mowing lawns to the joys of babysitting, changing dirty diapers (they were cloth in those days - ugh), cleaning spit up, and entertaining unruly and ill-mannered older children.

Back then, a diaper genie (which you could drop a disposable diaper into and have it instantly wrapped like a sausage link, for those who do not know) did not exist. For those who might remember cloth diapers, I'm sure you recall the lovely aroma of the diaper pail... and the joy of rinsing out those cloth diapers!

Tinkerbell, they couldn't have payed you enough! I'm the favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews, but except in rare cases I was able to avoid diaper changing....mostly! Hope we haven't scared this young man to death! ;) I think child care is not in his future! Then again, for the right phonograph, I'd babysit Charley Manson :P
