Dan posted some great pictures of the 2017 Union Show and I'll try to take and post some tomorrow. I did take these pictures of Jerry doing a commercial for GoJo. Get out your victrolas and start polishing!! Yes, I'm still out of Jail. I spent some of that bail money today on Phonographs at the Show: A nice Columbia BO and a British machine about the size of a Victor III with a very fancy case. Stan

Friday at Union is a madhouse and THE day to be here. I was busy all day either getting things out of the trailer or putting things in. I bet I made thirty trips from the show to the trailer and back. In between those trips I managed to buy a AB McDonald project machine, a Col AZ, a rigid arm MS and a strange machine made by Columbia that's about the size and shape of a VV-50. The trim is silver and ivory. Someone mentioned it was offered on our Forum but I missed that thread. Anyway it's a phono with bling. Maybe DeeDee will approve and want it upstairs.

We have just finished a great Union Show and are now on our way back to Ory-gun (that is the way we pronounce it). The Show was fun for the 3 of us and we bought a lot, but sales were not as good as we had hoped. But for me the important thing is all the good friends we get to see again each year. I am posting 3 pictures:

Over the years I have had many great experiences at the Union show. But, this year I had the most unique and hilarious experience of all. I had a machine sitting next to Jerry's trailer in the parking lot because we did not have room in the booth for it. It had a price and a phone number to call. Someone left me a little note that might be the most unique offer for a phonograph I have ever had!

Jerry took a picture of the trailer this morning. He said that if anyone buys anything on the way home they have to hold the horns in their lap!

The trip home begins...

We did not make much progress west Sunday after the show. Instead we headed north to Wisconsin to visit Robin and Joan Rolfs. This morning (Monday) we had a nice visit their home is a wonderful place to visit. More will come later, but here are a couple of initial shots.

The goats are great. Victor and Melba. I never got Victor to look at me but there are good shots of cute little Melba the goat.
