I never knew about the little beads or trim. I guess I'll be looking for something comparable. After looking at the horn in my Mignon, I saw tiny nail holes. I have a rough idea what to look for.

Mine has the little nail holes too Harvey. If you or anyone else has a close up picture of the real trim it
would be helpful in replicating it.
I re-greased the springs a couple days ago and its running very smooth now. Getting those little screws back
in the barrels was tough going though for sure. I will take the retaining rings on a Victor motor any day over
those screws. It was a learning experience at least.

We all quickly learn to mark those cursed Columbia spring barrels before disassembling them!
