ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR A BRUNSWICK "CORTEZ" PHONOGRAPH
Hi, this is Dr. Martin Folb from Los Angeles. I recently acquired at auction an essentially "NEW" Brunswick Cortez phonograph. It even had the ORIGINAL INSPECTION CARD from Dubuque, Iowa inside the machine. I was wondering if anyone had an original ELECTRIC motor for it that they wanted to sell? Feel free to contact me at 323-934-5826 or [email protected].

Re: ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR A BRUNSWICK "CORTEZ" PHONOGRAPH
It is a very nice machine. I have a Brunswick Panatrope Cortez with electric motor, I bought a spring motor in case the electric motor will burn up in the future. Is your machine missing the pull out record storages at the sides, and the grille. I suspect that the cabinet was refinished. It came in dark American walnut, like the colour of the inside your machine. My article about this machine is in the internet. Google...Brunswick Panatrope Cortez and chose James A. Carino, picture of the machine, including the electric motor is there.
Try to contact Bob Nix tel # (519)332-5718, he have lot of parts, he was the one who supplied me the spring motor for the Brunswick Panatrope Cortez.
Good luck,
Jim
