Source for cylinder boxes?

Post by FloridaClay »

To all,

I have a half dozen or so black Amberol cylinders without boxes. Do you know of a good source for quality repro boxes?

I happened across this tonight. http://www.shenandoahrestoration.com/supplies.html

Not sure if it will be helpful or not. :)

Thanks! I knew that I had seen them somewhere, but just couldn't remember where.

It's an interesting website but I didn't see boxes for wax Amberols. I think your best bet would be a wanted post in the trader. Jerry

Which brings up a good question. What is the correct box style for wax Amberols? The one with the green type?

Yep - the wax Amberols came in the green boxes (unless they were Special Amberols provided with Four Minute Attachments). These will have a soft lining inside.
