Saturday I bought a few 78's at a local thrift shop and came home with a bit of psychedelia too.
It dates about 1973. The cover to a booklet that was issued to educate sales persons within the Audio Industry.
In researching it I discovered that the artist, Jacqui Morgan, was firmly embedded with her
contemporaries in the pop art scene and remains successful in the art world today.
The SAC's Audio Primer featured this humous image on its cover.
Used with permission by the artist.

I especially like the stylized Edison phonograph with its horn's opening doubling as a disc record.
Oh yes, and that babe.

While reviewing her website, http://www.jacquimorgan.com , the historical section has
an image entitled Electric Circus. That was a happening club in Manhattan's East Village.
I Googled the club and found a series of Village Voice ads from 1967 which included that poster,
and another ad with this guy...

Timothy Leary was busy turning the world on too.
Later when spoke with my wife about this, she told me that she had been to the Electric Circus!
Synchronicity feels so good!

Here is an article from Billboard about this Hi-Fi educational workshops and it mentions this booklet too.
