Does anyone at Wayne (or anyone from this board going to Wayne) have new, plain record sleeves to sell? I know about the usual online places, just trying to save some bucks on postage.
Thanks,
Kevin

In all the years I've been going to Wayne, I've never seen anyone selling new sleeves, honestly.

Buy them from Bags Unlimited- if you get a box full the postage is reasonable.

I also buy from Bags Unlimited. Depending where you live, shipping is included in most cases if order is over $25. They ship fast and have great customer service.

Agree Kurt Nauck's "Disc-O-File" sleeves are first rate and the best I have found. He also all kinds of odd sizes to fit everthing from Little Wonders up to some of the big Pathés. I get them for my Diamond Discs too, as they are too thick for regular sleeves. Just ordered 50 this week. For my ordinary 78s, though, it is Bags Unlimited as a matter of economics.pictureroll wrote:I only buy from Nauck's Vintage Records ,They are the best there is.

What would you recommend for early 7" records such as Victors and Berliners and for 12" records? Bags unlimited has many to choose from and I don't want the sleeves to be flimsy, such as what you'd find on a 45 rpm record.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Another good supplier is Sleeve City (http://www.sleevetown.com/) They have a sleeve made to be an inner liner for LPs, called "the Diskeeper Ultimate Audiophile Inner Sleeve" that is pretty reasonable that I like for my 12" 78s. They have an inner and outer layer of plastic with white paper with a cut-out to show the labels on both sides between the layers of plastic--i.e., a triple layer on each side. The plastic is the good kind that stay pliable and won't stick to your records. (They will send you one sample for a penny so you can see if you like them.) The plastic is slick and slides in and out from other records on shelves easily.phonohound wrote:What would you recommend for early 7" records such as Victors and Berliners and for 12" records? And Kurt Nauck's excellent Disc-O-Files, made of a heavy weight card stock, can be had in almost any size you want, including the sizes you mention. There is a minimum order of 50, but he will let you mix sizes to make up the 50. You can't go wrong with these.

I use the green bags unlimited sleeves for my 10" discs, and the Disc-o-File sleeves for my Berliners, Pathés, and 12" discs.phonohound wrote:What would you recommend for early 7" records such as Victors and Berliners and for 12" records?
