I think the condescending attitude of collectors with regard to "crapohones" is short-sighted. Yes, you all have nice, genuine machines and take a sincere interest in the Real Stuff. But everybody has to start somewhere, and one can only guess how many people begin with a crapohone and progress from there. I can personally attest to this, having bought one about 15 years ago as an office decoration. My interest then got the better of me and with the advent of eBay it became relatively simple to build a real collection. Had it not been for my cheap crapohone I'd probably not be reading this Forum every day!
