Oh, they don't make crapophones the way they used to. What a beauty.
Though it still pales in comparison to the ever luminous Vera Lynn.

The machine may not be 100% original, but are you sure it is a Crapophone?
The "plumbing" between the tonearm and the horn appears identical to that on a German machine Picture 1-108 in "Antique Phonograph Accessories and Contraptions", whilst the straight tonearm with adapter looks as though it might be by Pathé.

The base is original, as is the horn. The horn looks like what Symphonion used to use on their coin op disc players - but there were also other manufacturere of this horn style. So it could be right rather than a horn and base married at some later stage. My bet is that it is a German manufactured machine.
If I saw it at market, I would grab it at the right price

this horn pops up on auctions now and then allways on markless machines so maker unknown i dubbed this type of horn the horn of pleny since the mythical horn in 18th century depictions always has this type of loop on it
another machine with a simular shape is the trombophon
but it can go even stranger
the last one has a mammut or parlophone coin-up kind of air to it
