Indestructables on an Amberola.

Hi can anyone tell me if indestructable cylinders can be played on an Amberola 50? Many thanks Gordon.

4 minute ones can with no problems, yes.

I agree: when it comes to the antique phonographs, let's keep original as best as possible; type up notes to accompany it as to what changes were made if any were necessary. Do no harm, and pass it all along. Yes, Indestructibles should play on an Edison cylinder player with a Diamond B reproducer--but of course one can't help it if the cylinders have mis-shaped over the past century.

On the other hand, I am the absolute owner of this body of mine, and when my time comes it's ALL going into the box--corneas, kidneys, overgrown toenails, and all the rest. No benefits for future generations there!
