First test video of the C-250, with the True Tone diaphragm!
This particular disc is superb - especially when you consider it was pressed in mid/late 1918! (edge numbers, no date mark).....
Just goes to show: you've got to listen to the record before you pass judgment...

Re: All Star Trio - Just Blue (featuring the True Tone Diaph
Thanks for posting, great record. Don't you just love this TrueTone diaphragm? I had two DD reproducers done by Steven Medved, one a year ago and one just recently with a TrueTone. When I listen to the same record with both reproducers the TrueTone is so much more life like, I feel like I'm in one of Edison's Tone Tests.
Thanks again

Thanks for the demonstration recording. I think its the first video I know of using my diaphragm? I notice that the sound seems to be slightly better using the link to the You Tube site.. I have no idea how all that works though.. I look forward to some of your classical things when you get around to them.

Welcome! I'll probably wait on further videos until I get the C-250 finished cosmetically: I've still got to replace some veneer...larryh wrote:Thanks for the demonstration recording.
