Post by a12548 »

I have a VV XI...Opinions on wood type..I would say its mahogany, but more like a English Brown Mahog? (it looks more red in photo for some reason) The back of doors are much darker..Im color challenged BTW.. Its serial 312339G..I was hoping for fumed oak but...bleh..no such luck.

Definitely mahogany. Looks red to me - not brown.

Red mahogany, and it probably had a lot of sun exposure.
