Casavant table top

Post by whoopinola »

This is a table top machine about the same size as a VV-IV..Made by the same firm in St Hyacinth Quebec that is famous for cathederal pipe organs..The tone arm and reproducer don't look correct , although there aren't any extra screw holes to indicate a swap...any ideas ??

Definitely not the right arm- it's off of a Birch portable from the 40's. Either the screw holes matched or this might have had a drop in arm, sometimes used on these small cheap machines so they could be packed in a box.

Well, I wonder who will have the great chance to restore this "phonographe de la Patrie"?
