Hello,
Has anyone used Molasses to remove the rust on Phonograph parts. If you go to YouTube there are some amazing videos of the process with fantastic results.

Re: Molasses and Phonographs
I have used it on antique car parts -- gears for example for which sandblasting or abrasives would damage the surfaces. Submerge the part in pure molasses and cover to prvent air from mixing with it. A coffee can with plastic lid is good. A week or less usualy does the job.
