It is a horizontal double spring ‘Heineman Motor No 77’ made c1924.
I need to remove the table to access the motor on my phonograph, but I am not sure how this is done. Does the table screw onto the shaft, or is it simply held on with pressure and slides off? I dont want to break it by trying the wrong technique.
How to remove the table on a Heineman Motor No. 77?

The turntable should just pull up. It may take a little coaxing and possibly a tap with a rubber mallet, but it should just pull straight up and off.

The turntable on my Heineman motor (in a Columbia 163 portable) is removable by unscrewing the turntable spindle (anticlockwise). Maybe yours is similar?
