Conchita Supervia sings an Excerpt from "Faust" (1931)

Here's a recent transfer I have made from a record I really like. The great Conchita Supervia sings, "Il Etait Un Roi De Thule" from Gounod's Opera, 'Faust'. Recorded on October 24th, 1931 for French Odeon, but never saw the light of day (one wonders why) until 1970s when Historic Masters pressed them on a vinyl.
Hope you'll enjoy this.
Played on an Audio-Technica AT-LP-120 USB turntable, with a custom-made 3.0mil Truncated Elliptical stylus. 2.7mil TE produces a much smoother sound, but it also catches the "cold wax chatter" at the end more prominently (possibly the reason why this wasn't issued) so I decided to transfer it with a larger stylus. I adjusted the equalization with my computer program to make it sound more decent. No filtering was applied - so that you can enjoy it in a "raw" form.
So, here it is - enjoy!
