Playerphone motor repair

Post by GoCOOGS! »

Hey yall, I recently picked up a Playerphone talking machine in pretty good cosmetic condition. It doesn't wind up however. I think I may tackle the motor. I think these "offbrands" used motors designed after bigger named machines. I will include pictures of it now and if anyone recognizes it tips and tricks would be appreciated. Also please let me know if it looks all there. thanks!

It looks to me like a "pillar & plate" motor, similar to those made by Heinemann...

I cannot tell if it is "all there" or not...
