Kirtley

I live in Clearwater by Clearwater Beach. I will be home on July 15th on through to the end of July. I only have 13 machines (mostly Edison's) . Your welcome to check out my collection which includes a Class M, Alva, Amberola 1A, GEM D and E, Standard (under glass), and various Polyphones including Concert, Spring Motor, Homes and Standards.

Clearwater is about 1.5 hours from Orlando.

Let me know if your interested.

Steve is too modest. He may have only thirteen machines but he should have said thirteen world class machines. Jerry

Steve, I would love to get to Florida someday and see your "meager" collection of 13 machines!

Kirtley, You should try to get to Edison's winter home and Laboratories in Ft Meyers while you are there too. You won't regret the visit to either Steve's or Edison's home!

Well thanks for the nice comment Jerry! Some collectors are into the ornate stuff and would probably find much of my early Edison stuff too utilitarian except for the Amberola 1A and possibly the Alva.

So Kirtley, if you expect to see a room full of Victrola Louis XVs you will probably be disappointed!

Like Valecnik, I also recommend Edison's Winter Home and Laboratories in Ft Myers. You will see all of the Edison models including coin-ops and prototypes. They even have a Multiphone!

Kirtley, hope you have a wonderful vacation here in Florida. There is a pretty decent phonograph show in Orlando, but alas it is in January.
