Based on my own experience having a similar Edison phono done about 6 years ago by an experienced electronics person, at least $450.00 today.

Would it be worth it to buy and fix it up because I'm really interested in these late Edison Radio-Phonographs I would prefer a Edison C-2 but I also want a Edison C-4. And what is the average price to pay for these Edison C-4

In my opinion the seller's asking price is on the high end, considering the cabinet finish isn't original and it has veneer issues.

There is a c4 in Atlanta Craigslist asking $750 and I think they said everything works. Then on there a while. Bet five hundred would buy it and it might not need anything else.

I have a C-4 as well as an R-6 and an R-5. These can be expensive to repair if you have an open winding in the speaker or transformer. And the power supply can be difficult as they buried the condensers in tar. It can be very hard finding someone who will work on them too.
