Has anyone ever used one of these? How well did it work? Are there any more economical ways of getting an Amberol with swollen plaster to be usable again?
Also, as a quick 2nd question. What's the best way to store Edison reproducers that are not being used at the moment? I ask this because of switching the Model C and Model H reproducers in and out of my Edison.
Thanks!
Has anyone used one of these?

These reamers are essential equipment for blue amberol collectors. They work very well, and I use a stiff brush to clean the sandpaper strips between cylinders. Be sure to work in an open area, and try to avoid breathing the plaster dust. The posted price is on the high end, and you can probably find one a bit cheaper. They'll last forever.
I'd suggest storing whatever reproducer that isn't installed in the inner bottom of your machine. I know somewhere in my house is a C reproducer, but I ended up buying another one because I can't find it!

I agree with the comments. I have one of these reamers and it is definitely essential to a collector of Blue Amberol collectors. Make sure you do it outside and try not to breath the plaster dust, lightly tap the cylinder to remove the dust, take it in and put it on the machine and see if it fits, keep reaming until the cylinder fits snug on the mandrel. There is a possible chance of over-reaming the cylinders, I have done this and they will be too loose on the mandrel.
