I'm amazed at how much good stuff is still out there. I saw ColoradoPhonograf's post so thought I'd add this one. A week ago I bought a really nice oak Edison B-80 thru CL and asked the seller where he got it. He mentioned that it came from an estate sale. I hadn't looked at all at local estate sales but took a look earlier this week and came across one with a walnut Victrola but no pics. I figured probably something common but when they posted pics today I was pleasantly surprised.
I called to ask how they ran their sales, I don't go to many, and asked if she'd mind telling me the price. It was a good deal so I said I was interested. She said to come on down tonite to have a look even though the sale didn't start til tomorrow. I gladly accepted her invitation and although the top of the lid has more than the usual water damage, I carted it home. Added to the Edison, and the 10-35's it has been a pretty good week! Now to plan the room addition to hold all this!!Garage Sale find II ( actually estate sale find)

Still among my top three Victrola models. What a beauty in Walnut too. Nothing like having the albums to complete it. Congrats!

Steve, I was in communication with the estate sale manager when she told me that the owner had just sold it though another means. At least a great guy got it... I'll have to come visit it on my next trip to TX.
