Unidentified Pathé Motor
Here is one more which according to the speed control is a Pathé. Anyone familiar with the model?

Re: Unidentified Pathé Motor
Looks like the anaemic Heinemann motor in my Pathéphone 7.
Haven't been able to get it to pull its way through a single 10" record. (clean record, good needle, all hardware moves freely.)

Re: Unidentified Pathé Motor
It is the same motor, but I would hardly call the Heinemann Model 66 "anemic", at least when in proper operating condition. Heinemann did source spring steel from various suppliers, however, and the springs used in these motors are not at all consistent. Some remain fresh and strong ninety years on, others become brittle and actually shatter into slivers, and yet others become so weak that they are entirely unserviceable. A pair of new springs should make your motor purr like a very quiet kitten.
