What did the Victor Part #3830 motor go to. Tried search but no luck. Thanks

Is this the part number on the cast motor block?

I’ve never paid attention to what part number is on what motor, a picture of your motor might help best.

Thanks for the responses. The number is on a little sticker underneath the motor board. Do not see any numbers on the motor itself. Here is two photos of the motor:

Also a photo of the speed control..

This motor was used in the Victrola X or IX. They used that crescent shaped speed control and double spring motor.

Why did you not state that in your first post??. That number is the part number for the label itself.... :roll:.

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:. That's why we (yourself included) are on here. However, pics posted with a question will generally create the correct information. I just find it humorous that the number was the label.

BTW, in most cases (Victor) part numbers in the high #3000 range are usually parts of the "Sundries" of a machine. This means....screws, hinges, stays, labels, etc.....
