FOR SALE: Grafonola 163 For Sale - SOLD

Post by Jerry B. »

I am helping a friend sell her Grafonola 163. It's a nice little machine. The motor runs quietly and the brass reproducer should be easy to rebuild. The price is $100. If you have any interest or questions please contact me at 541-990-0781 or [email protected] or PM. I am happy to take it to Union and I'll be in the San Francisco area early November. Thanks, Jerry

Price lowered to $125. What's it worth? Thanks, Jerry

The gold Victrola in the background of the last picture is a lot more interesting...

I bought it at Union a couple of years ago. It's a project I haven't tackled yet. Jerry

Wow! Is that a factory finish? I've never seen anything like it!

It's a Vernis Martin finish but most have classical painting in the framed portions on the sides, etc. I've seen about a dozen Vernis Martin Victrolas and this is the only one that was strictly gold. It was a special finish offered by Victor. Jerry

I thought there was a following for this type of machine. How about $100? Jerry

Jerry offered to bring it to Union for me next year. I'm looking for someone who could bring it back to the East Coast from there. Anyone planning to go to Union who has space to bring that portable back? I could pick it up at the Wayne show or in the Philadelphia area.
Thanks
Andreas
