I don't know how common this is, but many of the cylinders I have a accumulated seem to have lids with labels that are not what is in the box. Some are hand written on original blank labels, crossed off and re-written where even the re-written Title/Number don't match, others are printed, scratched out and re-written by hand and again, don't match the contents. I'm assuming that this is not uncommon given the frequency of the mixed up titles/numbers in my collection?
So... what I'm wondering is, are there replica labels available for printing or even in editable file form, so the lid labels could be replaced with a new blank space that I can rewrite the original, or edit the text with the correct title/number?
In my case, I'm interested in two minute wax cylinder lid labels. Mostly Edison Gold Moulded
Surely I'm not the first to consider something like this? Any tips, tricks, advice, thoughts or experiences with this are solicited
Thanks
Bill
