Día de Muertos at the 'Borrowed Time' Club

Post by Roaring20s »

The 'Borrowed Time' Club was started in 1902 in Chicago by self-styled historian Philander Walker Barclay. To be a member of this club you just needed to be 70 years of age. In this 1912 photo, members had a unique way to remember those members who had passed on.

I'll briefly revive this dead thread.

Today, my wife's employer gifted me this Día de Muertos tile.
It's likely we'll be remembered in this way, someday.
