Victor one back bracket

Post by chrisg »

I got some parts at the flea market ( large victor horn, vic 1 slip elbow and back bracket etc.) I have a nice complete Victor one and the back bracket is the same size, just has slip in elbow instead of the tab type. what other cases can i use this back bracket on or do I just offer it up

I would vote offer it up, but only because I need a victor 1 slip in and horn :D :D. I don't know if it fits anything else, maybe a victor 2 humpback?

The Vic II humpback uses the older style back bracket, not the slip in type. Those were introduced on later Vic IIs, maybe around 1910? The horn should probably work on all Victors, may need an adaptor if it has the smaller end. Also, they changed the lock in slot at some point from bottom to top, so depending on that the decal may be on the wrong side of the horn and upside down.
