Sorora Phono in MAPS magazine

Does anyone know if the early Sonora phonograph as featured in the most recent MAPS magazine is a rare machine. It is the one that has the arm on a feedscrew. I have never seen one in my lifetime.

I believe there is a past thread with pics of one. You may want to check "history".....

Yes, they're rare machines. There was a detailed article on these by Robert Baumbach, “The Sonora Feed-Screw Phonograph”, in
The Antique Phonograph, December 2011, pp. 3-6. I've seen a couple of different examples but I'd like to find one for myself!
By the way, one of these rare Sonoras is pictured on page 19 of the newest issue of
The Antique Phonograph. Is that the publication you mean?
