Unless one of the members here has a copy they would let you have for a "reasonable" price,
be prepared to pay alot for a decent copy.
Here's some examples of what I'm talking about.

Most of my collection comprises UK-issue 78s, for which I use the last editions/updates of D.A.T.E.S. by Eddie Shaw which, although incomplete and with a few known errors and inaccuracies, is invaluable. I wonder what happened to all his work after he passed away - does anybody know? I often come across cross-references between the three Parts which don't follow through and which were evidently ready to be completed at the next revision...
For looking up US 78s I use this resource http://www.78discography.com/ - although it apparently lists recording dates rather than issue dates, I find it really useful and fascinating.

I had a copy that I purchased in 1993, must have been maybe 20.00 for it then, then I re-purchased a copy from I think Nauck's, pretty good price maybe $ 25.00.
So if a member does not have it check with Kurt Nauck.
Seems people want this book.

Who wants to date a 78? I'm only 72 myself.

I use this online resource, too. But Have often wondered what the issue dates are for the discs. Is there any other resource for this info, outside the book by S. This is, by the way, my first post here. Great site. I've already spent a couple hours looking through the back posts!
