Edison Mute Ball

Post by Victrolacollector »

I was wondering if my Edison Chalet could be modified to use a mute ball? How would this be done?

You'd need the various pieces - the underside of the bedplate is drilled to accept the mute ball control: the guts of the Chalet are the same as in other smaller DD machines, and the mute ball was just left off to save money.

Edison did coin the phrase STICK A SOCK IN IT.
