Hello,
I have about 60 2-minute Columbia Indestructible cylinders. None of them have labels on the lids so I have to open each one to find out what the tune is. Does anyone make a good looking reproduction label for the top of the box. When I bought some new reproduction Edison boxes they came with a sheet of blue and white labels that you could cut out and paste on the lids. I have made many photo copies of this original sheet as it comes in very handy ( see picture) I was hoping that someone has made the same for Columbia cylinders.
thanks
Pete

Re: Help with Columbia cylinder boxes!
Original Columbia Indestructibles never had labels from day one...nor do the repros... The original Columbia lids only had an Ink stamped cylinder stock# number stamped on the top lid and that's it. No song or author title was ever on the top lids.
The only thing that you can do is get a "period correct" type label. Martha Stewart believe it or not makes these in Black, Blue and green.

Shouldn't these Martha Stewart labels be round, not square?
