Post by Dino Bravo »

Here for sale is a original 1905 Victor II Talking Machine sales invoice. This is very nice. This would look good displayed with a Victor II Talking Machine. Price $65. Shipping in the US is $5. Thank you.

Great letter-head on the invoice !

The 40 % discount makes me wonder if this sale was to a small dealer in New Hampshire ?

Very interesting paper. Any machine that is labeled "Vic II" on the metal ID tag would never need an adaptor for a large horn. I checked a machine in my basement that is a Vic E or "Victor the Second" in Victor advertising. It is serial number 62,xxx and has the small tone arm and elbow like a Vic I and it would need an adaptor for a larger horn. The machine mentioned in this invoice must have been a similar machine and tagged as a "Vic E" but the dealers were already calling it a Vic II. The phono-nerd in me finds that interesting.

If anyone has a machine that most would identify as a Vic E but has a Vic II ID tag, I would love to see a photo. Thanks, Jerry
